What to Expect in a Yin Yoga Class

In a Yin Yoga class at our Adamstown studio, expect a slower pace and plenty of time in each posture. Shapes are held for longer, mostly on the floor, allowing the deeper connective tissues — joints, ligaments and fascia — to be gently loaded and nourished.


Classes are calm and supportive, with an emphasis on stillness, breath and awareness rather than muscular effort. This creates space not only in the body, but also in the nervous system, helping you shift out of stress and into a more settled, regulated state.
