Four weeks of small Iyengar classes in Adamstown, plus up to five Yin yoga classes each week. Iyengar has a central idea that sets it apart: the pose adjusts to your body, your body doesn't adjust to the pose. Using props — blocks, straps, bolsters — you set each pose up so you can feel what it's doing, then hold it long enough to work. It builds strength and mobility gradually, and it suits stiff beginners and experienced movers equally well. $99 for the full four weeks.

Yoga styles differ more than most people realise. Here's what makes this one worth starting with.
The pose works for your body, not the other way around.
Iyengar uses props — blocks, straps, bolsters, and the wall — so the shape of each pose is set up correctly for the body you have today. A tight-hipped beginner and an experienced practitioner can be in the same pose, in the same room, both getting something out of it. Nothing is watered down. Nothing is out of reach. You work at the edge of what your body can actually do, which is where progress happens.
You learn what each pose is for.
Iyengar classes move slower than flow classes, and that's the point. Poses are held long enough for you to feel where the strength is meant to be, where the length is meant to be, and what to adjust. Over four weeks, you don't just learn the shape of ten or fifteen foundational poses — you learn what they're doing and why. That understanding is what lets a practice keep developing for years, rather than plateauing after a few months.
It builds real strength, not just flexibility.
Holding a standing pose correctly for ninety seconds is hard. Holding it with your legs working, your spine lengthening, and your breath steady is harder. Iyengar asks the body to do more than it looks like from the outside, which is why it produces steady gains in strength, balance, and mobility — and why people keep coming back to it into their sixties, seventies, and beyond.

Throughout the four weeks of the course, you’re welcome to attend any of our Yin Yoga classes at no extra cost — that's up to five additional classes each week.
Yin Yoga is a slow, floor-based practice that focuses on longer holds to gently stretch muscles, improve joint health, and calm the nervous system. It’s a perfect complement to Iyengar Yoga, helping you unwind, reduce stiffness, and give your body time to settle between more active classes.
Many beginners find Yin especially supportive for improving sleep, managing stress, and easing tension — making it a valuable part of your four-week experience.
“Infuse Health is brilliant in every respect. The space is beautiful and purpose built but it is the people that really make this place what it is. From the moment I walked through the door I was welcomed into a community that is built on warmth and respect.
Whether you are looking to start yoga for the first time, an experienced practitioner this is the place, or you are just wanting to get some movement into your life you will be gently guided and encouraged. I highly recommend.”
"I started at Infuse health with their introductory offer for movement classes and was quickly hooked. Now I'm a regular at the longevity class and Iyengar and yin yoga classes.
I love the inclusivity and the skills I learn, but most of all the social aspect and the fun!
I highly recommend Infuse Health."
“Such a beautiful community vibe at Infuse Health. Everyone is so inviting and friendly.
The yoga instruction is at such a high level and caters for beginners and novices with Foundation classes.
The modifications made by the yoga instructors are so supportive and welcoming.
I’d highly recommend to people of all ages.”

This course suits adults who are new to yoga, returning after years away, or curious about Iyengar specifically. We have beginners in their thirties and beginners in their seventies. Fitness, flexibility, and coordination aren't prerequisites — they're some of the things the practice develops. One class a week is enough to see progress over four weeks. If you want to come more often, there are up to six beginners classes to choose from, plus the Yin classes.

Classes are capped so teachers can correct and adjust every person in the room. You're not at the back of a crowded studio trying to work out what's going on. You're in a small group where the teacher knows your name by the second class.

Infuse Health runs yoga alongside Pilates, movement and strength classes in the same studio. The teachers on the yoga side know what the strength side is doing, and vice versa. If you start with this beginners course and later want to add a Pilates or Movement class, you're in a studio set up for that.
Not sure whether Infuse Health is right for you? Call, email or visit us before you book. We would rather answer your questions first than have you walk through the door wondering.
